Hi Keith, my name is Rose and I am a possible new Pickled Pedaller member :-) I will definitely be doing the Flyer and can't wait until the 31st as I will be riding my lovely new Pinarello ROKH in her very first event!

Can't understand why you think you're "not brave enough to join the PP rides", Keith - we don't bite and we're not training to do the Tour de France!!

We're all about getting out and getting some exercise and enjoying each other's company... Smile And telling lies over coffee afterwards...

(Some of us however seem to have a difficulty in getting out of bed in the mornings Big Grin)

Hi Keith and Rose

Myself and Mark (Murdoch) are planing to do the 100K Flyer. We haven't entered yet, but will be doing in the next few days, to avoid the late payment penalty.

We both usually ride on Sunday, so we may catch up with you there.

John

Don't go to bed, then you wont have to get up early cause your all ready up!
This method avoids damp bed sheets Coach Smile

RE: 100k Flyer
Do you guys doing the Flyer all wear your PP kit? If so I will keep a look out for you and introduce myself! Only 12 days to go yay! I did a 78k ride on Sat from Gulf Harbour out to the rock (Helensville/Kaukapakapa turnoff) at the respectable hour of 10am ;-) Good ride out with tail wind but a slog going back into a nasty head wind!

I was thinking of getting a vest at some stage but see you don't have any at the moment! The Womens shirts are all too big, I'm small or medium size depending on how large the sizes run.

My time for the Flyer was 3hrs 17mins 31 secs, pretty pleased with that considering I got the worst cramp I have ever had on the bike before at the 80km mark!!
