Use of this Sub-Forum
The intention here is to provide a point where people can list events (so I don't have to maintain the page at http://www.pickledpedallers.co.nz/events.html - in fact, I will take that page down very shortly).

Try to keep a single thread per event (but a new thread for the same event in a different year).

I recommend using the name of the event and the date in the "Thread Subject" so it can be easily located.

Use the full name of the event in deference to the sponsors of the event - the search engines will find the name and increase the rank in the search term and this will give more exposure to sponsors, and so increase the number of sponsored events (in the long run).

If you need, or are offering transport to an event, this sub-forum is the place to do it.

Event Results can be entered in the relevant thread here.

Keep the sledging to a minimum here - that belongs in the General Stuff forum... Smile

RE: Use of this Sub-Forum
OK - I have replaced the original "Events" link on the pickledpedallers.co.nz site to direct everyone to this forum instead.

I have deleted the original Events page, so it should automagically direct you here...

If it doesn't, and instead gives you to a "Page cannot be found" message, click your Back button, press "Ctrl" + "F5" (which clears the browser's memory) and then click the "Events" button again.

If that doesn't work, send me a PM or an email - 'cos if that doesn't work, then I've probably broken something (wouldn't be the first time!)
